Book Sales and Fundraisers

Our major fundraiser is our Annual Book Sale which runs for 3 days, April 25-27, 2008. We broke all previous sales records with our 2007 sale. We want to thank everyone for their support. We are grateful for the high quality donations that we have been receiving from our community. Thanks to those who attended and made purchases at our sale. A big thanks goes to all the volunteers who made it all possible. We hope all of this support will continue for our next sale.

Throughout the rest of the year, our Ongoing Book Sale is located opposite the Circulation Desk, during regular Library hours. This space will feature our special Holiday Book Sale beginning Saturday, November 3, and continuing through December while supplies last.

Book Lovers Calendars, published by Workman Publishing Co.
Canvas Book Bags
Plastic book bags (jointly sponsored with Batavia Public Library)
School supplies, in a vending machine in the Youth Services Department

Occasionally our Book Research Group identifies donations of greater value than our usual material. We have sold these at national book auctions and, locally, at our Silent Auctions and Specials Room sales.
