Friends of the Batavia Public Library

Who We Are

The Friends of the Batavia Public Library are dedicated to promoting, improving, and assisting the Batavia Public Library. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, with all donations fully tax-deductible. If your employer has set up a Matching Funds Program, we are legally qualified to accept these funds. This is a way to double your donation to the Friends of Batavia Public Library.

Friends of Libraries U.S.A.

We are members of Friends of Libraries USA (FOLUSA). FOLUSA is a national organization whose mission is to motivate and support state and local Friends groups in their efforts to preserve and strengthen libraries, and to create awareness and appreciation of library services.

Libraries are community treasure chests,
Loaded with a wealth of information
Available to everyone equally,
And the key to that treasure chest
is the library card.
