We're Joining SWAN

Starting May 1, you will have access to more books, movies, DVDs and much more when Batavia Public Library joins the SWAN library consortium. This means we’ll be part of a larger library consortium, expanding from eight libraries to 97!

The library catalog will be getting bigger, expanding to 729% of the materials currently available within our consortium, and your library card will work at any of these locations. You can also select “Pick Up Anywhere” if you want to place holds on materials in the catalog and pick them up at a specific location that might be closer to work or home.

Our neighboring libraries in Geneva, North Aurora and St. Charles will also join SWAN.

What you should do now
