The Batavia Public Library offers a world of possibilities to residents and organizations in our community. The Library invites you to explore the world and broaden your horizons, not just through books, but also through technology, cultural events, children’s activities, gatherings and discussions, visual arts programs, seminars, and lectures.
We are grateful for the tax dollars you already contribute to support the operations of the Library. However, those funds cannot provide for all the enhancements that make the Batavia Public Library the center of lifelong learning for the Batavia community.

The latest technologies at your fingertips… children’s authors, storytellers, read-aloud theatre… artists-in-residence… community historians… speakers on business and public affairs… computer training… a world of new media, classic and in-demand literature… a travel, science, or wildlife lecture series… music performance series… commissioned public art… writers’ workshops… dedicated gallery space… community outreach… comfortable space to curl up with a good book or a laptop… all right in your Batavia Public Library! With Batavia Public Library Foundation funding, the possibilities are unlimited.
