How to download:

 

• Option 1: Download directly to mobile device.

• Option 2: Download to a computer and transfer to device.

 

 

 

 

 

Option 1: Download directly to mobile device:

Title(s) may be downloaded directly to these devices:

• Android™ • BlackBerry® • iPhone® / iPad™ / iPod touch® • Windows Mobile®

  1. Download the OverDrive Media Console (used for both eAudiobooks and eBooks).
  2. From Mobile menu on right side of screen pick your mobile device.

Option 2: Download to a computer and transfer to device:

    1. Download the OverDrive Media Console.
    2. From Desktop menu on right side of screen pick Windows or Mac.
    3. Click Download Now to run the software.
    4. Follow the prompts to complete the download.
    5. The first time Windows Media Player attempts to open a DRM-protected file, it will alert you that a security upgrade must be performed before the file can be opened. The upgrade takes just a few moments.

Transfering eAudiobooks to your device:

  1. Connect your portable device to your computer. *
  2. In OverDrive Media Console, highlight the title you would like to transfer. Click the Transfer button. The Transfer Wizard is displayed.
  3. Verify that the correct title is displayed on the first screen of the Transfer Wizard and click Next.
  4. The Transfer Wizard searches for a connected portable device. If your device is detected, the Confirm screen is displayed.
  5. In the Confirm dialog box, select the Part(s) you want to transfer by checking the box(es) next to the Part name(s). Click Next to begin transferring the file(s) to your device.
  6. When the transfer is complete, the Transfer Wizard displays a Success message. Click Finish to exit the Transfer Wizard.
  7. Disconnect your portable device.

* If using an Apple device, make sure that iTunes has the most current update.
