- Download the OverDrive Media Console (used for both eAudiobooks and eBooks).
- From Mobile menu on right side of screen pick your mobile device.
- Click Download Now and follow installation instructions.
- You will need to download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer.
- Click Launch to run the software.
- Follow the prompts to complete the download.
- The first time Adobe Digital Editions opens, you will be prompted to enter an Adobe ID.

Select Authorize Computer.

Click the link Get an Adobe ID and follow the instructions to create an Adobe account.

You will need an email address.
- Return to the activation screen and enter the email address and password for your Adobe account.

Click Activate.
- Connect your eReader device to your computer. Make sure your device is "awake."
- In Adobe Digital Editions library view, select a title you would like to transfer.
- Drag the title to the eBook device icon in the left pane of Adobe Digital Editions.
- The Copy Documents dialog box is displayed and the title is transferred.
- When transfer is complete, the Copy Documents dialog box closes.
- Disconnect your portable device.
Your eReader manufacturer may also require additional software, upgrades, etc. to be installed. Please check with the manufacturer of your device for additional information

- Click the "Kindle Book" format tab.
- No software or apps required. Titles are checked out through amazon.com account. (You must have an Amazon.com account).
- An active Wi-Fi connection is needed for wireless delivery to the Kindle;
titles cannot be delivered via Kindle's 3G connection.
- If no Wi-Fi connection, load the title by connecting the Kindle to the computer using a USB cable.
