Waubonsee Community College

Along with credit classes for those working towards a degree, WCC offers Adult Education, which offers basic education,  Adult Education Special Programs, which includes classes in computers, supervision, licensing and certification, construction, manufacturing, and warehousing, as well as small business assistance. They also offer Career Services for jobseekers, and the Aurora Community Technology Center , which offers free computer classes and computer use. 

 

Batavia Public Library

The Library offers beginning computer classes in Microsoft Office programs and navigating the Internet. It also provides free computer use for Batavia Public Library cardholders, and free Wi-Fi for all library visitors.

 

Kane County Department of Employment and Education

Offers services to eligible job seekers, adults and teens, based on individual plans 

 

Job Corps

Job Corps is a free federal education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a job. For eligible youth at least 16 years of age, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.
