I Dwell in Possibility: An Intimate Evening with Emily Dickinson
Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) is regarded as one of the greatest American poets. She wrote poetry of tremendous power, questioning the nature of immortality and death. Through nature and life, Emily was able to glimpse into a mystic dimension beyond worldly distractions. She lived a mostly introverted and reclusive life. Fewer than a dozen of her nearly 1800 poems were published during her lifetime. Emily’s first volume was published four years after her death. Since 1890 Emily has remained continuously in print.
