Batavia Library cardholders can schedule a Book A Librarian appointment for one-on-one help with Genealogy, Technology, or MakerZone needs. Appointments are a maximum of one hour and can be booked once a month.
The Library offers WiFi and many devices for patrons to use in the building to meet your technological needs.
The Library is happy to provide contact-free, curbside pickup. Make your requests through the catalog or over the phone.
Home delivery service is available to Batavia Public Library patrons who are unable to visit the Library for health or vision reasons. This service includes free delivery of Library materials.
The Youth Services staff are dedicated to supporting teachers, students, and homeschool families with outreach programming and supplemental materials for curriculum.
The MakerZone is a place where you can create, inspire, and explore. We offer space, tools, equipment, and technology to help Batavia Public Library cardholders get creative.
When not in use by the Library, meeting rooms are available to groups and organizations serving residents of the Batavia Public Library District. Use must be for educational or cultural purposes and must be open to the public.
The Library provides free notary services following the Illinois Notary Public Handbook. You will need a valid photo ID, to sign the document in front of the notary, and need to provide your own witnesses if the form requires it.
You can print emails, documents, photos, boarding passes, and more. Print directly from a library computer or use your own device to send a mobile print request. You will have 24 hours to release your print jobs during library hours.
Reserve a Study Room or Group Study Room up to one week in advance for a two-hour time slot.
Proctoring is available by appointment to students 16 or older.
The Library offers voter registration services at the Check Out Desk.
