Are you a student in 6-8 grade? Interested in becoming a Batavia Public Library Junior Volunteer? Here is some information you should know.
- What junior volunteers might be asked to do:
- Prep craft and storytime components
- Organizecraft supplies
- Stamping of books
- Help clean up after programs
- Cut scrap paper
- Check puzzles and games
- Assemble kits and reward packets
- Assist with special events or projects
- Junior volunteer checklist:
- Be on time
- Dress neatly
- RespectLibrary rules
- Call the Youth Services Department if you are unable to work that day, (630) 879-1393, ext. 500.
- Sign in and out during volunteer times
- Visit with friends after volunteer hours
Space is limited! Please submit your application no later than DECEMBER 20. If we receive more volunteers than we can accommodate for this session, a lottery drawing will be conducted.
